Safeguarding Policy

Kentisbeare Falcons is committed to ensuring that the club is a safe environment for all those involved in football. We work closely with the FA to adhere to best practice guidelines and have implemented a Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedure document. The club will ensure that:
-
It will follow the FA's 'Checked, Trained, Hear, Report' steps to safeguarding.
-
All coaches recruited in eligible roles with children or young people will havehold an in-date FA accepted Enhanced CRC with Barring List check as part of responsible recruitment practice.
-
It appoints a Welfare Officer who is the clubs designated contact point for welfare related issues. The welfare officer will be recruited in line with the FA’s role profile and be required to hold a Safeguarding Children and Welfare Officers Workshop certificate.
-
Adopt the FA’s Responsible Recruitment guidelines for recruiting volunteers.
-
Adopt suitable Codes of Conduct, Anti-bullying and Whistle Blowing policies at the club.
