
Who to Talk to...
If you are worried about a child or wish to report a case of poor practice or abuse then please follow the advice below:
1. Report your concern to the Club Welfare Officer (CWO): Our CWO is Becki Wheeler who can be contacted on 07739554568 or rebecca.wheeler@live.co.uk . If the issue is one of poor practice then the CWO will deal with the problem themselves or seek advice from the County Welfare Officer.
2. If your concern is more serious- such as abuse- then please contact the County Welfare Officer immediately, then immediately contact the Police or Children's Services. Our County Welfare Officer is Matt Hodgson who can be contacted on 07973312146 or matthew.hodgson@devonfa.com.
3. If you are a coach and the child needs immediate medical treatment take them to a hospital or call an ambulance and tell them this is a child protection concern. Let your CWO know what action you have taken.
4. If at any time you are not able to contact your CWO or County Welfare Officer or the matter is serious then you can either:

Call the NSPCC 24 hour Helpline for advice on 0808 800 5000

Contact the Police or Children's Services
